This is probably not news to some people, but in older typography, the "s" was often made in something of and "f" shape. For one of my classes (American Lit. before 1900) I have to write a paper on a newspaper from the Revolutionary War Era, when the "s" as an "f" fad was really in.

I learn by word vomit. No. Seriously. I learn by opening my mouth, vomiting words, and then trying to figure out what the hell I'm saying while I'm saying it. I just spent the past five days doing a massive major project for Early Brit Lit. I made several pieces of art, a fanmix, and I wrote an handful of poetry and some nonfiction. So, I was coming back from driving Kelli (stormantia) home and I swear I drove past Minerva McGonagall in a minivan. No. I haven't slept yet. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Also: people in Ohio need to learn to drive in the snow. A think drizzle of sleet/snow does not equate to "OMG LET'S DRIVE FIFTEEN MILES UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT!!!!"
